Junior Lily Jagodzinski (Tonawanda, NY/Williamsville North) has been named the NCGA East Region Specialist Gymnast of the Week as she helped Brockport to a pair of 190+ team scores on consecutive days over the weekend.

On Saturday, she scored a 9.7 on beam and a 9.75 on floor as the Golden Eagles competed against Penn State, Iowa State and Penn.

Brockport traveled back home by bus to face Cortland, Ithaca and Rhode Island College on Sunday afternoon. Jagodzinski had nearly the same scores Sunday with a 9.7 on beam and a 9.725 on floor with the winning score on the floor. The Golden Eagle gymnasts set a new school record with a team score of 192.225.

 Jagodzinski was also part of the Brockport Gymnastics fundraising effort with the Stick It to Cancer event Sunday. The Golden Eagles raised over $3000 that will be donated to the Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Cancer Center in Rochester.
