JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Junior Dillon Stowell captured first place at the Jamestown Community College Open on Sunday in the 125-pound bracket, defeating both of his opponents while The College at Brockport Wrestling team also had three other Golden Eagles place second overall.

Brockport's Teddy Fleming, James Schreck and Jacob Morris placed second overall in their weight classes.

125-lb

In a round robin format for 125-pounds, Stowell won both of his matches in a field of three total wrestlers including himself. His first match was a close 4-2 decision while his second was a tech fall 18-3 victory to take first place overall.

165-lb

Fleming beat his one opponent by a 7-1 decision to secure a championship bout falling by a close 6-3 score.

174-lb

Schreck defeated his first opponent by a narrow 1-0 decision before pinning his next challenger 15 seconds into the second period at 3:15.

285-lb

Morris had four matches on the day and finished 3-1 with two pins. His first two victories were by falls in 4:01 and 1:06 before a 4-0 decision to set up a championship match.
