Played one year of women's basketball and two years of softball at Brockport; came to Brockport after two years at Orange County Community College.
A Finger Lakes field hockey player, she was picked for several Mid-East Field Hockey Teams; played semi-pro softball for the Syracuse Lake Viewettes; coached Brockport's field hockey program from 1970 to 1972; coached basketball and tennis at the University of Rochester.
Officiated field hockey, volleyball, and basketball, working many Sectional final games; AWPENNYS secretary; president, Finger Lakes Field Hockey association.
