Four-year track star; holds school records in the women's heptathlon and pentathlon and the indoor record for the 50-meter dash; was the New York State heptathlon champion in 1983 and 1985 and was the New York state indoor pentathlon champion in 1986; SUNYAC champion in the 100 meters (1984); two-time NCAA national championship competitor in the heptathlon and one-time NCAA national championship competitor in the triple jump.

Has coached varsity field hockey from 1992 to the present; Section IX Class A Champions in 1994 and 1995; coached varsity gymnastics at Kingston from 1987 to 1992; two years League champion and Section IX Champion (1990, 1991); also an assistant track and field coach from 1987 to 1991.

Was named Gymnastics Coach of the Year by the Poughkeepsie Journal in 1990; is a recreation instructor for gymnastics, volleyball, basketball and summer recreation programs in the town of Ulster.
