Undergraduate Major: Criminal Justice
Four-year member of the football program as a standout quarterback; named starter during his freshman year and led the offense all four seasons; named team’s Offensive Rookie of the Year as a freshman and took team to its second straight NCAA playoff berth; led team to NCAA quarterfinals as a sophomore; in his junior year, led Brockport to fourth consecutive NCAA playoff berth and was named a captain and the team’s Offensive MVP; as a senior in 2004, was again a team captain and was the Atlantic Central Football Conference’s first-team selection at quarterback; finished his playing days as the career and season leader in touchdown passes, passing yards, completion percentage and quarterback rating.
Team was 34-11 in Darnley’s four years in the program (30-8 in games he started), including a record 10 wins in his sophomore year; finished fourth in the country in quarterback rating (144.67) in 2003.
Played two seasons of professional indoor football after his career was over at Brockport; has worked in the sales field since re-locating to North Carolina in 2007.
