Varsity swimming (4 years), cross-country (3 years). Undefeated in the 200-yards breaststroke in dual meets and state competition for all four years. Held state record for 200-yard breaststroke (2:19.99) Earned All-American honors in 1967 (fifth in 200-yard breaststroke) and was honorable mention in '66 and '68. Member of state champion team in 1966. Won 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events at Atlantic Coastal Championships at Brockport in 1967.
Coached swimming at Maplewood YMCA (2 years) and Monroe High School (5 years). Certified YMCA official since 1984.
