Cuyler Groth was a 2007 American Football Coaches Association First Team All-American offensive lineman for the Brockport football program.
He was also named a preseason All-American in 2008. In 2007, he helped the Golden Eagles rushing attack which compile the third-most yards in a single season in school history and in 2008, Groth helped lead the way on an offensive line that produced back-to-back 1,000-yard rushers. This marked the first time in program-history that Golden Eagles boasted 1,000-yard rushers in consecutive seasons.
For his efforts on the field, he was also named a 2008 D3football.com All-East Region selection and a NJAC All-Conference First Team selection.
In 2008 the Golden Eagles finished the season with a 7-4 overall record and won the ECAC Northwest Championship game by the score of 70-68 over Hartwick.
