As a freshman at Brockport, played junior varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball; spent three years on varsity soccer team and two on varsity track team; placed third in the javelin at the 1960 New York State Championships.
Soccer coach at SUNY Morrisville, 1965-present; career record of 294-5 1 -11; named National Coach of the Year, 1980; NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year, 1978, 1980, 1981; undefeated National Champions, 1980; team has won 10 Region III NJCAA Championships; nine undefeated regular seasons; 36-game winning streak, 1980-81 (national record at that time); alternate coach, World University Games, 1979; received New York State Legislature Award, 1980; coached 32 junior college All-Americans.
Coordinated soccer curriculum for New York State volunteer coaches institute; President of Region III coaches association, four years; Empire State Games clinician, 1984; staff on national soccer camp, 18 years.
Special Olympics Service Award, 1985; Madison County Special Olympics fund chairman; member of National Soccer Coaches of America Board of Directors, 1984-87; New York State Boys State Athletic Director, 15 years; Outstanding Service Award to Morrisville College Students, 1981; former Faculty Student Association Board of Directors vice-president.
