Undergraduate Major: Business/Sports Management
Three-year standout on the ice hockey team at the College; left the program in 1990 as Brockport’s all-time leading scorer with 63 goals and 81 assists for 144 points; set the single-season scoring record with 62 points in 1987-88; had 28 goals that year and 24 in 1986-87, the second- and third-best seasons in school history upon his graduation; also was third all-time in season assists (34, 1987-88) and led the team in power play goals in a season (12, 1987-88) and career PPGs (23); in a game at Oswego in January 1989, scored the fastest goal in hockey history (five seconds) to start a game; led the most successful team (17-8-1 record) in school history (1987-88) in scoring.
After Brockport, served 21 years in a number of roles with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL), including vice president of corporate partnerships (2009-10), vice president of sales and marketing (1996-2009), senior marketing and sales director (1995-96), director of ticket sales (1993-95) and account executive (1989-93); won the AHL’s McKenzie Award in 1997-98 for the one individual judged to have done the most in promoting his team.
During his time in Rochester, also was an executive with the Rochester Knighthawks (indoor lacrosse; 1996-2010), Rochester Raging Rhinos (soccer; 1999-2008) and Rochester Rattlers (outdoor lacrosse; 2001-2008).
