Record-breaking member of the indoor and outdoor track & field squads at Brockport for four years; All-American in the hammer throw with a 4th place finish at the NCAA Championships in 2003 at St. Lawrence University; two-time New York State Division III indoor champion; finished in the top-four twice in ECAC Championship competition; SUNYAC record holder in the hammer throw; also earned Academic All-American honors.
Finished in the top-10 five times at the United States Amateur Track & Field (USATF) National Championships for both Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field; earned a spot at the 2008 US Olympic Trials and placed 13th.
Returned to Brockport as an assistant coach for the Track & Field program; coached two All-American athletes and the current school record holder in both the 35-pound weight throw and hammer throw; also coached one high school state champion and school record holder.
