Four-sport standout – basketball, field hockey, lacrosse and tennis – as an undergraduate at Brockport; excelled in all four; led basketball team in scoring as a junior and senior; averaged 25.0 points per game her junior year; was a part of the first women’s lacrosse team at Brockport in 1972; captained the team as a senior; played first doubles in tennis as a freshman before switching to lacrosse as a sophomore; started every contest during her four years, except her first basketball and field hockey games as a freshman.
Currently serves as the Director of Athletics and Associate Professor of Physical Education at SUNY Cortland (since January 2003); prior to being named AD, was Associate Athletics Director and Senior Women’s Administrator; retired from coaching volleyball at Cortland in 2004; posted a career record of 816-234 – her wins total was second highest in NCAA Division III history – with 19 NCAA tournament bids in 20 years and 14 SUNYAC Championships.
Was Chair of the Physical Education Department at Newark High School from 1978 to 1982; also has been a U.S. Lacrosse Official for girls and women’s lacrosse since 1974.
