Three-year record-breaking softball standout at Brockport (1987-89); led team to SUNYAC titles and NCAA appearances (1987 and 1989) as a sophomore and senior; named to the All-NYS Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association team as a junior when she hit a career-best .436; team placed third at the state tournament that year; Brockport posted a record of 62-18 in her three seasons as the starting shortstop; hit .419 (second all-time) over her career, leading the team in batting average each year; also led the team in hits, runs, doubles and home runs each season; finished her career with 18 school records, and still holds marks for career (11) and season (6) triples.
Coached softball and volleyball at Skidmore College in the mid-’90s; also worked at Potsdam College and Capital District Region high schools as a certified Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Has worked at Guilderland High School as a health teacher for nearly 15 years; also teaches classes in athletic training and worked full-time in that profession for several years before getting into teaching.
