Four-year starter for the softball team, compiling impressive offensive and defensive statistics on a team that posted a combined record of 81-39 during that stretch; considered the top catcher in the state by her senior year; led team to two NCAA appearances, two SUNYAC titles, two state titles, and four SUNYAC West crowns; All-State and All-SUNYAC selection as a player and won multiple awards for her work in the classroom as well; won the ECAC Merit Award in 1995; when she completed career, held records for season runs batted in (30) and doubles (12)
Brockport’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year after both her junior and senior seasons; won the Dorothea Deitz Memorial Scholarship, the Carol Susswein Award, and the Clark V. Whited Award as a student.
Has worked in a variety of roles with Lifetime Assistance since graduation; also interned with Catholic Charities Community Services, Hillside Children’s Center and the Rochester Society for the Prevention and Care of Children as an undergraduate and graduate student.
