The College at Brockport Wrestling team has been selected as the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Virginia Duals scheduled to start Friday afternoon at the Hampton Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.
Brockport (1-0), the defending champions of the American College Division, will face Central Florida in the first round of the tournament that continues through Saturday.
Roger Williams University, ranked #28 in the latest Brute NWCA Division III rankings, earned the top seed in the American College Division and will face Liberty College. Anderson College will face No. 2 seed Stevens Institute of Technology while The Apprentice School will take on No. 4 seed Nassau Community College, currently ranked #9 in the NJCAA national poll, in the final matchup for the American College Division.
Brockport will face the winner or loser of the Apprentice/Nassau CC match in its second round competition that could be either Friday night or Saturday.
Last year, Brockport beat St. Andrews, 31-6 in the opening round, handed Central Florida with a 34-9 victory and scored a narrow 21-20 win in the championship match against Nassau Community College.
