Senior Brandon Caruthers (Rochester, NY/East) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Dec. 8.
Caruthers helped lead the Golden Eagles to a championship victory against Roberts Wesleyan in the 48th Annual Wendy’s College Classic on Saturday evening.
In the commanding 81-52 victory, Caruthers finished the game with 15 points, six assists and four steals.
Throughout the tournament, Caruthers averaged 11.3 points and 4.33 assists.
For strong play in all three games of the tournament, Caruthers was named the tournament MVP.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Monday, Dec. 30 at the Medaille Invitational. Brockport faces Hamilton at 6 pm.
