Senior Hannalee Fordyce (Amityville, NY/Copiague) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Jan. 5.

Fordyce led the Golden Eagles in a last second, heartbreaking loss against Alfred on Friday evening. Trailing for most of the second half, Fordyce helped give Brockport some momentum in the final minutes of the game. Unfortunately Alfred was able to hit a 10-foot jumper to win the game in the final second.

Fordyce finished the game with a season-high 12 points, tying her career-high. She also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds to record her first double-double of the season.

The Golden Eagles open up State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play on Tuesday at 6 pm with a matchup on the road at Geneseo.
