Junior gymnast Stephanie Schuler (Purcellville, VA/Hickory) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 2.

Schuler won three events and broke a school record to lead the Golden Eagles to a commanding 190.675-176.540 victory over Rhode Island College on Sunday afternoon in Brockport.

Schuler won the vault with a 9.675, won the balance beam with a 9.525 and broke the school-record in bars with an outstanding score of 9.8. The old record was set by Kaitlin Dewey in 211 who had recorded a score of 9.775.

The Golden Eagles return to action 1 pm on Saturday for the ECAC Championships held at Springfield College.
