Sophomore Sarah Alwardt (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) averaged a double-double over three games as The College at Brockport’s women’s basketball team picked up a pair of State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) wins. Alwardt is Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Alwardt, a guard, averaged 14.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game during Brockport's 2-1 homestand. She posted a pair of double-doubles, including scoring 18 points and grabbing a career-high 16-rebounds during Friday night’s 67-59 win over Plattsburgh.

Facing Potsdam Saturday afternoon, Alwardt recorded her fourth double-double in her last six games, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles (6-14 overall, 4-9 SUNYAC) moved into sole possession of seventh place in the SUNYAC standings, with the top eight schools qualifying for the SUNYAC postseason tournament.
