Clifton Lyerly and the Golden Eagles improved their win streak to five games this week, with big conference wins over Fredonia, Oneonta and New Paltz. In an 82-58 win on Tuesday the junior led all scorers with 17 points to go with two assists, one steal, rebound and block. On Friday, the Golden Eagles continued their winning streak with a 65-56 win over the Red Dragons. Lyerly netted nine, picking up two boards, two assists and a steal on the day. In the Golden Eagles 84-70 win over New Paltz, the Inwood, N.Y. native again led all scorers, this time with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Lyerly added two steals, an assist and a block on the night.

For the week Lyerly averaged 16.6 points per game, 5.3 rebounds a contest, 1.6 assists, and one steal a game. He shot 52.7 percent (19-of-36) from the field.
