Jake O’Connell scored his first career touchdown Saturday after recovering a fumble and returning it 31-yards to help Brockport defeat Hartwick 38-35 in its conference opener.  The sophomore tabbed five tackles on the day, four of which were solo.  With less than three minutes remaining and holding onto a three-point lead, O’Connell ended Hartwick’s drive with an interception, sealing the win for the Golden Eagles.
