For the second straight weekend, Haas went undefeated in the 125-lb weight class, this time taking home the top spot in the New Standard Corporation Invitational. His championship run began with a matchup with Christian Wellman of Baldwin Wallace University, who he defeated by major decision 10-2. His quarter and semifinal bouts would be a bit closer, as the junior first took down Fred Mase of Ithaca College 5-3, before securing a spot in the finals with a tight 4-3 decision over Robert Murray of Stevens Institute. His championship bout came against conference foe Cortland’s Andrew Roden, who he beat via a 6-1 decision.
