Cassandra Minerd was a force on the defensive side of the ball in both contests for the Golden Eagles. The senior had a balanced game to open the SUNYAC Tournament, picking up three draw controls, two caused turnovers and one ground ball, in route to a 14-3 win over Oneonta. Minerd picked up her play in the championship, adding three caused turnovers, two ground balls and a pair of draw controls, while forcing 18 turnovers out of the No. 14 ranked SUNY Cortland.Â
