Junior Kyheem Green (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) scored a season-high 20 points during The College at Brockport’s thrilling 59-58 win over Geneseo Saturday afternoon. Green, who also snared 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, was named Brockport’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Green scored six points during Brockport’s 11-0 opening run against Geneseo and finished with 14 first-half points as the Golden Eagles held on for the one-point win in their State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opener.

Green has reached double-figures in scoring during all seven games, and he leads Brockport in scoring (108 points), scoring average (15.4 ppg.), rebounds (65), rebounds per game (9.3), steals (15), blocks (14). Among players with more than two field goal attempts, Green’s 47.6 shooting percentage leads all Brockport players.
