Pastore was a productive bat at the top of the lineup for the Golden Eagles this week as he helped the team go 2-0 this week against talented, non-conference opponents. The week started on April 16, against St. John Fisher where the center fielders hit 3-for-5 with three runs scores, one stolen base and five RBI, four of which came on an eighth inning grand slam to blow the game open, 13-6. The very next day in a battle against Ithaca College, Pastore continued his success at the plate with a 2-for-5 performance that included a run scored and another stolen base. In the field he converted all 10 put out opportunities included some difficult catches due to the weather.
