SUNY Brockport Athletics

Junior middle blocker Meaghan Mastro has been named this week’s Athlete of the Week. 

The Green and Gold went against SUNY Geneseo this past Saturday, in the SUNYAC Finals and won 3-1. With this win they earned their fourth conference championship in the past five years.  

Mastro was named to the All-Tournament Team and received tournament MVP. During this game, Mastro dominated offensively with a total of 18 kills. She is ranked number one for the team with most kills made this season, a total of 80. Also, she added seven digs, a service ace and three blocks for a total of 21 points.  

The Golden Eagles have entered the NCAA Regionals. On November 11th, there will be a NCAA tournament selection show. During this show, they will find out who they will be playing against in the first round of the tournament.
