Junior Brian Duffy (Hilton, NY/Hilton) only fired five shots this week in three games for The College at Brockport men’s soccer team, but one found the back of the net as the game-winning tally in double overtime. Duffy’s performances this week make him Brockport’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Duffy’s game winner came in a 2-1 triumph over Stevens Institute of Technology. The Golden Eagles went 2-1 during the week, also beating St. John Fisher 1-0. Duffy was a huge part of a defense that only allowed two goals in three games.

The goal was the second this year for Duffy, and the sixth of his career. The Golden Eagles are 3-2 this season, and Duffy has scored two of their six goals thus far.
