Senior goalie Erin Asquith (Arcade, NY/Pioneer) stretched her shutout streak to three games by registering two more at home this week. Asquith led The College at Brockport women’s soccer team to a 1-0-1 record during the week, earning her the distinction as Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Asquith started the streak in a win over Allegheny College on Sept. 3, and neither St. John Fisher or Nazareth College could get the ball by her. Against St. John Fisher, Asquith stopped six shots, with a few saves for the highlight reel during a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals.

Asquith helped the Golden Eagles to a 0-0 tie in the third annual Golden Challenge for a Pink Cure game. She recorded five saves against Nazareth in 110 minutes, bringing her run of not being scored on to over 300 minutes.

Brockport is 2-1-1 this year, and Asquith moved her career shutouts total to 13.
