Sophomore Ross Ragonesi (East Northport, NY/Northport) kept The College at Brockport football team close with his presence on defense and recorded an interception early in the second half.

For his efforts, Ragonesi was named Brockport’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Ragonesi intercepted his fourth pass in as many weeks early in the second half with the Golden Eagles trailing 20-13 against the 12^th-ranked Montclair State Red Hawks. The defensive back also finished the game tied for the team lead with eight tackles.

Ragonesi anchored a defense that only allowed 143 offensive yards and three points in the second half.
