Senior Melanie Melewski (New Baltimore, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) and sophomore Nick Von Stackelberg (Alfred, NY/Alfred-Almond) both won events for The College at Brockport Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams in their season opening losses to Ithaca.

The Brockport men's team lost 230-58 while the women's team lost 200-100.

Melewski led the women by winning both the 50 and 100-yard breast stroke events. Von Stackelberg won the 1,000-yard free style.
