ONEONTA, N.Y.- The College of Brockport's men's and women's swimming and diving team fell at Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in a State University of New York Athletic Conference matchup (SUNYAC). The women fell by a score of 167-128, and the men lost 161-131.

Freshman
Kaitlin Dunning won the 1000-Yard free style touching the wall in 11:49.71. Dunning also finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:43:36 and third in the 200-yard freestyle finishing in 2:06.05.
Mary Jane Leja won the 200 free style touching in a time of 2:02:62 over three seconds better than the second place finisher. The junior also recorded first place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle finishing in 25.14, and the 100-yard freestyle finishing with a time of 26.80.

In the women's 100-yard backstroke the Golden Eagles notched the top two spots.
Dee Logory finished first with a time of 1:04.02 and
Jenna Gleason came is second recording a finishing time of 1:05.39.

The Green and Gold posted the top three finishers in the women one meter diving.
Loren Sayers registered a first place finish with a score of 269.65.
Kate Nau finished in second and
Brooke Leddon notched a third place finish. Nau finished with a score of 204.70 and Leddon had a 191.65.

On the men's side,
Matthew O'Donnell finished in first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a finishing time of 57.71. O'Donnell was also a part of a first place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the team also included
Liam Henry,
Chase Carson and
Austin Moyer finishing with a time of 3:30.96.

Liam posted a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle touching the wall in 22.64, the sophomore also recorded a second place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.52.
Austin Moyer came in first place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:11.54.

In the 1 meter, diving Brockport notched the top two finishers.
Gabe Arias finished in first place with a score of 276.80 and
Matthew Merchant finished in second place with a score of 259.25.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, January 21, as Brockport hosts Buffalo State for senior day. Events are scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
