BROCKPORT, N.Y. The College at Brockport swimming and diving team split their home meet against SUNY Fredonia, with the women winning 166-109 and the men falling 165-119. The women's team move to 4-4 on the year, where the men's team drop to 0-8.

During the first break of the meet, seven seniors were honored for their hard work and contributions to the Brockport swimming and diving team.

Ryan O'Meara were the three men's swimmers, with
Abby Tripp,
Meghann Kilgallon,
Kate Nau, and
Martha Ruether being honored on the women's team.

The meet was started off strong as the women's team nabbed a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. With the team of Ruether, Tripp,
Dee Logory, and
Jenna Gleason they finished with a time of 1:56.21.

The Golden Eagles continued to roll when
Kaitlin Dunning nabbed a first and a pair second place finishes. She placed first in the 200-yard free style (2:05.42), with her two second place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (5:48.29) and the 1000-yard freestyle (11:57.67).

On the men's side,
Brandon Amthor notched two first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (48.28) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.84), and finished second in the 200-yard fly (2.03.79).

Dee Logory for the Green and Gold claimed three top spots in the 50-freestyle (26.83), 50-yard backstroke (29.70), and in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.25).

Logan Gregory had a strong day for Brockport with three first place finishes. He tabbed first in the 100-yard backstroke (56.12), 200-yard backstroke (2:06.98), and in the 200-yard IM (2:08.46).

Ruether kept things going with a pair of first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (55.89) and in the 100-yard breast stroke (1:12.67).

Michaels and
Chase Carson for the men's team claimed the top two spots in the 100-yard breaststroke, with Carson taking first in a time of 1:05.86 and Michaels nabbing second with a time a 1:06.53.

Brockport women's diving continued to stay dominate in the conference taking the top two spots in both the one and three-meter dive.
Loren Sayers took the top spot in the one-meter dive with a final score of 241.40, with Nau coming in right behind by a final score of 216.40. Sayers grabbed the first-place spot again in the three-meter dive with a score of 255.35, with Nau claiming second with a score of 232.25.

The Brockport swimming and diving pool hit the pool again Feb. 21st for the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships in Buffalo, N.Y.
