Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport swim and dive teams hosted Nazareth on Wednesday for a dual meet. The women won the close matchup, 119-117, while the men came up short with the 127-109 loss.
Mark Eaton dominated on the diving board, winning both the 3-meter and the 1-meter for the men. He posted scores of 302.05 and 274.40 to grab 18 total points for the team.
Matthew Dambra won the 200-IM with a time of 2:06.63 in the race.
Oliver Dragojevic also won his individual event, with a time of 1:02.64 in the 100-breaststroke.
Swimming a time of 51.49 in the 100-freestyle, Billy Tolpa took first place in the event. Tolpa was joined by
Jerome Gordon,
Tyler Hyde, and
Rainer Grimme to grab second in the 400-medley relay.
Logan Gregory won the top spot in the 100-backstroke with his finish of 55.85. Dambra came in just behind him at 56.10 for second place. Gregory also was second in the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:55.36.
The lineup of Tolpa, Dragojevic, Gregory, and Dambra clocked in at 1:32.03 for second place in the 200-freestyle relay.
Tyler Hyde and
Peter Schmeer went second/third in the 100-butterfly with close times of 1:00.44 and 1:00.85 respectively.
The Green and Gold are back in action this weekend, as the team travels to Buffalo State for a 1 pm start on Saturday.
