WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The nationally-ranked No. 23 SUNY Brockport wrestling team dominated action as the Golden Eagles recorded four pins, two major decisions and one technical fall on its way to a convincing 46-3 victory on the road at Penn Tech Friday night.
Brockport's record moved to 9-1 in dual meets this season and the Golden Eagles will now look ahead to the NCAA Mid East Regionals hosted by Ithaca College on February 29
th and March 1
st.

Austin Reed got the Golden Eagles going with a pin over Penn. Tech's Lukas O'Connor at 6:56 in the 149 pound weight class.
Matthew Kline then earned a 9-1 major decision win at 165 before
Chris Eames also won by major decision at the 174 pound weight class.
Joe Yanis earned a pin over Penn. Tech's Jake Kallenborn at 184 in just 4:48, while
Devon Shader picked up a thrilling 14-12 victory with a takedown in the final moments of his 197 pound matchup against Jalen Edwards.
Heavyweight stand out
Richard Knapp posted a pin over Penn. Tech's Ty Stahli in just 2:30 and
Austin Sergeant also added a pin in the 133 pound matchup for the Golden Eagles.
Elijah Sims then added a tech. fall victory in the 141 pound weight class to close out the team scoring on the day for the Golden Eagles.
