Ferrum, VA – The SUNY Brockport baseball team collected its first win of the 2020 season on Sunday, defeating Alfred State 12-8. Brockport starts the season 1-3 after the opening weekend trip down to Virginia.
Daniel DelGaizo was outstanding in the batter's box for the Green and Gold in the win. He was 2-for-3 at the plate with two triples, three RBI's, and four runs scored.
Tom Kretzler rattled off a double in a 2-for-6 effort with the bat, while
Ryan Mansell also recorded a double to go with one RBI.
Kretzler got the start on the mound, striking out four in just over three innings of action.
