BROCKPORT, NY -- Brockport gymnastics junior

Reilly Workman were named the department's 2019-20 Scholar Athletes of the Year on Friday.
The honors continue to roll in for Sklenar, who was also named an All-American for her efforts on the vault this past season with the nationally-ranked Brockport gymnastics team. She earned All-American honors on the vault after posting a season average score of 9.6813, which ranked third in the region. She finished the season with a high of 9.725 on the vault and also ranked tied for fifth in the nation. She ranked 32
nd nationally with a season average score (SAS) of 9.5563 on the floor exercise and 31
st in the nation with an SAS of 9.5313 on the balance beam. She was also an NCGA All-Championships team honoree and an NCGA Gymnast of the week selection this past season to help guide Brockport to an 11-7 dual record and a team ranking of No. 3 nationally.
Senior
Reilly Workman, who was also named the George M. Rich outstanding senior athlete this past year, graduated with a degree in sports management and a minor in communication while also playing a key role as a catcher on the Brockport baseball team. His work in the classroom may very well have been as impressive as his time spent on the baseball diamond and throughout the volunteer community. Workman has been inducted into five honor society's for leadership, achievement and academics and he is a multiple-time president's list honoree following a perfect 4.0 grade point average in the Spring of 2017 and Fall of 2018 and 2019. He was also a multiple-time Dean's list recipient at Brockport.
