Oswego, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's swimming and diving team defeated SUNY Oswego in a dual meet on Saturday, 190-101. Brockport dominated by placing first in 13 out of 16 events.
Nicole Orcutt managed to finish first in the women's 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:34.67. She also claimed first in the women's 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:25.65, the women's 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:35.77.
Orcutt was also a part of the women's 200 yard freestyle relay which saw her team made up of Elizabeth Sagen, Parker Sawyer and
Emily Meissner take home first place recording a total time of 1:44.19.
Allison Morrow also took home a few first place finished for the Green and Gold in the women's breaststroke with a time of 2:39.41, women's 200 yard IM with a time of 2:25.14 and the 100 yard Breaststroke, 1:13.36.
Sawyer Parker grabbed a pair of wins for the Golden Eagles in her races with a first place finish in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.44 and 200 yard backstroke timed at 2:23.26.
Elizabeth Sagan took home first place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.28 and first place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 56.31.
In diving,
Kyra Russ,
Ren Watson, and
Caroline Rossi took home first, second and third place in the 3 meter diving with Russ scoring 211.40, Watson scoring 191.40 and Rossi coming in with a score of 179.15
In the 1 meter diving event Russ took home first place with a score of 215.70 and Watson taking home second with a score of 205.55.
The women will next travel to Misericordia where they'll take part in the Cougar Splash Invitational on December 3rd at 6pm.
