Brockport, NY. – The SUNY Brockport men's soccer team looks to capture its second straight win of the season on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:15 p.m. when they'll host cross county non-conference opponent St. John Fisher College. In the Golden Eagles most recent victory, it saw them defeat Mount Aloysius 2-0 to even Brockport's record to 1-1-1. The Cardinals are 1-1 overall this season and are coming off a 3-0 loss to Eastern University.
The History: Since 2010, the Golden Eagles are 8-2-1 against the Cardinals having outscored them 20-6. In the team's last contest, following a scoreless first half of action,

Matthew Stefaniw took full advantage of a penalty kick opportunity to give the Golden Eagle's the two-goal victory. In net, following his shutout tie against Nazareth on Saturday, Goalkeeper,
Andrew Taylor, played a total of 200 minutes over the weekend without allowing a goal. With these two appearances he picked up his first two collegiate shutouts. Taylor currently has an 1.24 goals against average with a .714 save percentage.
Looking at St. John Fisher: The Cardinals are currently 1-1 with a 2-1 win over SUNY Geneseo to open their season and a loss to Eastern University. Justin Bonetto and Ben Woolingham currently lead the Cardinal's offense with a goal apiece, while Ryan Collins added an assist to his name. In goal for St. John Fisher, Jadon Schlierf has started both games and has a .667 save percentage with eight saves on four goals allowed.
Weekend Activities: Following Wednesday night's game, the Golden Eagles will host the Elmira College Soaring Eagles on Saturday, September 11th at 6 p.m. on Bob Boozer Field.
