The SUNY Brockport men's and women's swim and dive teams defeated host SUNY Fredonia in a pair of dual meets on the road Saturday afternoon. The Brockport men's team won 162-72 and the women's team won 180-86.
Saturday's meet was Brockport's final tune-up heading into the SUNYAC Conference Championships which will take place Feb. 16-19 at the Erie Community College Flickinger Center in Buffalo.
Brockport's women's 200-yard medley relay team of
Sawyer Parker,
Allison Morrow,
Bri Owen and
Elizabeth Sagan posted a first-place finish with a time of 1:59.22. Morrow also took home top honors in the women's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.20 and she finished first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:23.22.
Elizabeth Sagan was the top finisher in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.10 and she also won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.78.
Bri Owen was the top finisher in the women's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.67.
Kyra Russ won the women's 3-meter diving event with a score of 239.70 and she added another first place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 263.70.
Brockport's 200 yard freestyle relay team of
Sawyer Parker,
Nicole Orcutt,
Emily Meissner and
Elizabeth Sagan capped the meet with a first place finish and a time of 1:46.23.
Brockport's 200-yard medley relay team of Matt Chan, Oliver Dragojevic, Logan Kime and Billy Tolpa earned a first-place finish with a time of 1:45.51. Dragojevic added a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.86 and he also won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.37.
Matt Chan won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:13.76 and he came back with another event win in the 100-yard fly as he posted a 58.12.
Mark Eaton won 1-meter diving event with a score of 239.70 and he came back with another event win in the 3-meter dive as he posted a score of 273.38.
Brockport's 200 yard freestyle relay team of Ryan Sampson, Oliver Dragojevic, Logan Kime and Billy Tolpa added a first place finish with a time of 1:39.08.
