Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport Men's and Women's will begin their regular season journey this weekend at Nazareth College for their first dual meet. The meet is set to start at 1pm at the Otto A. Shults Community Center in Pittsford New York.

Weekend Recap: Last Saturday the team traveled to The Pumpkin Relays, an exhibition meet consisting of solely relays, hosted by SUNY Cortland. The women finished first in multiple events and third overall at the meet. The men also had some great swims and finished third at the meet. Kurt Mueller placed second on both the Men's 1-Meter and 3-Meter diving events. Teammate Ren Watson finished third on both the Women's 1-Meter and 3-Meter.
Looking at the Golden Flyers: Nazareth has only swam one meet this year besides their Alumni Meet. The Men swam SUNY Geneseo on Saturday and fell 170-108. Junior Cameron Fairley was their top finisher in both the 1000 (10:32.20) and 500 freestyle (4:59.46). Ryan Hough finished first for the 200 free with a time of 1:50.24 and was a close second in the 50 (22.12) and 100 free (48.12).
The women also fell to Geneseo, 168-123. Junior Ashleigh Parsons leads the charge on the 100 breaststroke with a 1:12.73. Junior Elizabeth Tripp set the bar high being the top scorer on the 1-Meter with a score of 256.60. Her teammate Alexis Rizzo was second on the 1-Meter and scored 241.20.
What's Next: After this weekend's meet in Pittsford, the Golden Eagles will travel to SUNY Oneonta the following Saturday, November 5
th for a 1pm start against the Red Dragons.
