Elmira, NY- The SUNY Brockport Men's Ice Hockey team fell to Elmira College on Saturday afternoon 6-3, at the Murray Athletic Center. Elmira is now 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the New England Hockey Conference. Brockport falls to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the SUNYAC conference.
After a strong 20 minutes of play for the Soaring Eagles, Brockport went into the first intermission trialing 0-4.

Josh Higgins received the puck from teammate
Jacob Rodrigue and
Chase Maxwell, burying the puck in the back of the net. As well as recording his first collegiate goal and marking the first of 3 goals for the Green and Gold. Elmira scored one more time in the second, sending Brockport into the third trialing 1-5.
At 2:08 in the second
Andrew Harley capitalized on a power play opportunity scoring the second goal for the Golden Eagles. Harley was assisted by teammate
Connor Galloway. Elmira scored their final goal at 7:08 in the third.
With one second left on the clock
Michael Meredith passed the puck to
Dominic Chirico, who took a shot that rebounded of Elmira's goalie, landing in front of
Matt Anastasio who snuck it between the pipes.
Nolan Egbert spent the first 47:52 minutes in the game before
Dylan Wiemer stepped in for the last 12:08. Egbert made a total of 31 saves, allowing six goals. Wiemer made 10 saves and allowed no goals.
Up Next: Brockport will be heading to Fredonia State on Friday December 2
nd for a 7pm puck drop, before returning to host Buffalo State the following night.
