The SUNY Brockport wrestling team went 2-0 in two duals on Senior Day at the Jim & John Vlogianitis Gymnasium Saturday. The Golden Eagles topped Pennsylvania College of Technology 43-6 and came back with a 37-9 win over Alfred State. Prior to the start of the Alfred dual, Brockport celebrated its graduating senior class: Joe Benedict, Richard Knapp and Zack Brown. 

Brockport improved its dual meet record to 4-1 on the season and the Golden Eagles return to the mat on February 26^th and 27^th at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania for the NCAA Mideast Regionals. 

Richard Knapp now has 22 wins on the year headed into regionals, while Marquis Larmond boasts a 17-9 record. Matt Caccamise went 2-0 on the day and is now 15-3 and Chris Eames also picked up two wins and improved his record to 16-6. 

Brockport 43, Penn Tech. 6 – Final
Brockport lost just one match in a dominating victory over Penn Tech. Matt Caccamise (125) kicked things off with a 9-4 decision victory over Ryan Berstler.  Elijah Sims then earned a tech. fall victory (17-1, 5:23) and Marquis Larmond won a 4-2 decision in the 149 pound weight class. 

Sam Grey won via tech fall (15-0, 4:24) at 157 and Matthew Kline earned an 8-2 decision win over Logan Ledebohm at 165.  Christopher Eames and Nick Franco put Brockport's first dual to bed with two consecutive fall victories in the 184 pound and 197 pound weight classes.

Brockport 37, Alfred 9 – Final
Caccamise made quick work of his second match of the day, pinning Alfred's Brendon Tanner in just 1:26 in the 125 pound weight class.  Elijah Sims won an 8-2 decision at 141 and Marquis Larmond battled to a 7-5 victory at 149. 

Sam Grey pinned his opponent in just 45 seconds in the 157 pound weight class and Matthew Kline earned a late takedown to pick up a tight 7-6 victory at 165. 

Eames kept his record perfect on the day with a 12-0 major decision victory at 184 and Richard Knapp pinned Alfred's Tyler Pelech in just under five minutes to earn the victory at 285.
