Ithaca, NY – Three divers from the SUNY Brockport men and women's swim and dive program competed on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Regional Diving Competition, hosted by Ithaca. The women completed the 1-meter diving event, while the men got after it on the 3-meter board.
 
Out of the 21 competing divers on the women's side of the action, freshman Kyra Russ placed 13^th on the 1-meter board. She wraps up her first taste of regional competition on Friday with a score of 376.15.
 
Going back to regionals for the second straight year, Mark Eaton earned 12^th place on the 3-meter board. He racked up a score of 404.05 in the event in a field of 16 divers.
 
Teammate Kurt Mueller made his first appearance at regionals on the day as well for the Golden Eagles. Mueller scored a 377.80 in the 3-meter diving event to finish 15^th in the regional competition.
 
Saturday will mark the final day of the NCAA DIII Diving Regionals, the men hit the 1-meter board and the women step onto the 3-meter board. The action is scheduled to get started at 12 pm down in Ithaca once again.
