SYRACUSE, NY – The SUNY Brockport baseball team earned its15th strait victory in a 1-0 pitching battle against the Oneonta Red Dragons Tuesday night at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY.

Matt McGowan (2-0) was the highlight of the night as he recorded the Golden Eagles third straight complete game by a pitcher wherein nine innings, he struck out 10 batters allowing four hits while not allowing a walk or hit by pitch. He also threw a total of 103 pitches in the game.
Hitting Highlights
The designated hitter of the game, Bran Tietjen, went 2/3 at the plate while
Ryan Voight scored the game's only run off of a bases-loaded passed ball situation in the bottom of the second inning.
Along with Tietjen,
James Houlahan,
Ryan Mansell, and
Ryan Voight were the only other Golden Eagles to get a hit in the ball game.
What's Next
The Golden Eagles will look to improve upon their 16 game winning streak tomorrow at 4:00 pm when they travel to the Rochester Institute of Technology to take on the 13-7 Tigers.
