Brockport, NY- The SUNY Brockport Men's Soccer team faced Nazareth College this Saturday at 7:30pm in Brockport NY, at the Dr. Linda Arena Field. The Golden Eagles improve to 1-0-3, after the 1-0 victory, while the Golden Flyers fall to 2-2-0,.
 
At 5:42 in the first period. Russ Domm found the back of the net after Seamus Parker sent him the ball from across the box. Domm now leads the team with two goals so far this season.



The physical match up made for a fast 90 minutes with the Green and Gold outshooting the Golden Flyers 12-9. Each team had four shots on goal and Brockport provided the only score of the match.

Andrew Taylor spent another 90 minutes in the net recording four total saves. Keeping the Golden Flyers without a goal, Taylor records the shutout in Brockport's home opener.



In a very physical and chippy match, the officials handed out multiple cards to members of both teams including one red card. 
 
This Tuesday, September 13^th the Golden Eagles will host Houghton College on the Dr. Linda Arena Field for their second home game of the 2022 season.
