Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's ice hockey team has another weekend of SUNYAC matchups. Friday night the men will face SUNY Cortland at Alumni Arena for a 7pm puck drop, before returning to Wegmans Ice Arena for a game on Saturday February 4^th at 7pm against Oswego State.
 
In the YAC: Andrew Harley and Connor Galloway are still at the top of the SUNYAC for most ponts. Galloway is sitting in first tied with Kozyrez from Buffalo State with 23 points. Harley is tied for third with Glamos from Buffalo State with 22 points.
 
Harley is tied for third in the SUNYAC for most goals, with 11 this season. Galloway is tied for leading conference with assists with 15. 
 
Alex Monteleone has a plus minus rating of +11, which is tied for 11th in the SUNYAC.
 
Aidan Curry is ranked fourth in the conference for his save percentage of .926%. Nolan Egbert is ranked 10th with a percentage of .898%.
 
Weekend Recap: Friday night at home, Brockport lost to the Plattsburgh State Cardinals, 4-1.
 
With his goal in the contest, Connor Galloway extends his streak to five consecutive games with a score. He now has eight on the year, while Manny Sanchez's assist is his eighth of the year.
 
Early on in the first period, Plattsburgh struck first to get on the scoreboard. The visiting team from up north scored just 2:22 into the game to go up 1-0. With no other scores in the period, Brockport trailed by one going into the second.
 
4:58 into the second period, Connor Galloway tied the score up at 1-1 with a goal for the Green and Gold. Galloway was assisted by Manny Sanchez on the play. However, the Cardinals would answer not long after with a power play goal to retake a 2-1 lead.
 
Brockport entered the third period down one, but the deficit would soon grow. Just 1:22 into the final period, Plattsburgh's Bennett Stockdale netted his second of the game. Before the final horn the Cardinals would add one more to their total, completing the 4-1 victory over the Green and Gold.
 
Nolan Egbert came up with several big saves in net, totaling 41 stops in a full 60 minutes of action. His counterpart, Eli Shiller, made 25 saves for Plattsburgh.
 
The Team hosted Potsdam on Saturday for Military Appreciation Night. Brockport gave up a pair of third period goals, falling to the Bears, 2-1, at home.

Andrew Harley scored the team's only goal of the contest, his 11th of the season. Connor Galloway was credited with the assist on the play, his 15th of the year. Galloway extends his point streak to seven games for the Green and Gold.

Both teams had opportunities in the first, but the score would remain at 0-0 after the opening period.
 
The Golden Eagles struck first with a goal in the second period. At 4:23 into the second, Andrew Harley sent the puck into the bottom left quadrant of the goal, assisted by Connor Galloway. This would give the squad a 1-0 lead midway through the contest.
 
Brockport entered the third still up by one goal. However, Potsdam would tie the score at 1-1, 8:47 into the final period. The visiting Bears would complete the comeback with the game-winning goal with just 1:31 left in regulation.

Looking for an extra skater in the final moments, Brockport pulled the goalie with 47 seconds left. Unable to find the equalizer, the match ended with a 2-1 score in Potsdam's favor.

Nolan Egbert spent 59:13 in between the pipes tonight making 39 total saves and allowing two goals. The Golden Eagles are now 8-12 overall and 3-8 in the conference.
 
Looking at The Red Dragons: Cortland is currently 12-7-1 overall and 7-4 in the conference going into Friday night's game. The Red Dragons have a total of 81 goals this season and 701 shots. They average 4.1 goals a game and their leading scorers are Domienic Settimo with 13 goals and Cameron Knowlton and Anthony Bernardo each with nine.
 
Between the pipes for the Red Dragons are Luca Durante, Ronan Mobley, Jack Riedell. Durante has seen 958:40 minutes on the ice. He's made a total of 542 saves this season, and allowed 50 goals, giving him a save percentage of .916%. Mobley has seen 70:26 in goal, making 31 saves, allowing 3 goals, giving him a save percentage of .912%. Riedell has seen 177:57 on ice, making 98 saves, allowing ten goals, giving him a save percentage of .907%.
 
Looking at The Lakers: Oswego State is 12-7-1 going into Saturday's competition. The Lakers have recorded a total 66 goals this season and 665 shots. They average 3.3 goals a game and their leading scorers are Alex Dicarlo with six goals and Thomas Rocco with four.
 
Between the Pipes for the Lakers are Eric Green, Carl Schell and Richie Parent. Green has seen 60 minutes of game time this season making 18 saves, allowing no goals, giving him a save percentage 1.000%. Schell has seen 421:53 minutes in goal, making 192 saves, allowing 19 goals, giving him a parentage of .910%. Parent has seen 116:16 minutes in goal, making 34 saves, allowing seven, giving him a save percentage of .829%

The Men will return to Wegman's Ice Arena next Saturday, to Host SUNY Fredonia Friday night before traveling to Buffalo State.
