Brockport, NY- The Men's Ice Hockey team will be heading to Steele Hall in Fredonia on Tuesday, January 10^th to face Fredonia State in a non conference match up at 7pm.
 
Last Game Recap: The SUNY Brockport Men's Ice Hockey team fell 2-5 Sunday afternoon at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston Massachusetts to Nichols College in the Championship Game of the Boston Landing Invitational.
 
Brockport struck first with a goal at 8:46 in the first. Andrew Harley sent it into the back of the net unassisted. 
 
With seven seconds left in the first Luke Harvie, from Nichols College scored, sending the men into the first intermission 1-1.
 
At 12:04 into the second Josh Grund sent a puck across the goal line, scoring Brockport's second goal of the night. Grund was assisted by teammate Jacob Rodrigue.
 
Nichols scored two more goals in the second period.
 
The third period started 2-3 Nichols, before they scored their final two goals to secure the win.
 
Nolan Egbert spent 60 minutes between the pipes, allowing five goals and making 28 saves. 
 
Looking at the Blue Devils: Fredonia State is currently 2-9 overall and 2-6 in conference going into Friday's game. The team has a total of 19 goals this season on 296 shots, averaging 1.73 goals a game. Their leading scorer is sophomore Ryan Bailey with five goals. In net for the Blue Devils is Dyck Logan, spending 668:13 minutes between the pipes, making 394 saves, and allowing 36 goals, giving him a save percentage of .916%.
