Swimming and Diving Host Geneseo and Nazareth on Saturday

Brockport, NY - The Brockport swimming and diving teams will host Geneseo and Nazareth for tri-meet action on Saturday, November 4th at 1pm.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles hosted the Red Dragons of Oneonta last Saturday. The women's team rolled to a 157-83 win, as the men's team was defeated 123-82. The meet moved the women's team to 1-0, as the men fell to 0-1 in duals.

The 200-yard medley relay of Miya Vitale, Addy Martino, and Emily LeFrois-Heath took first place, finishing in 1:53.95.

Sarah Kilburn and Corinne Wilson earned first and second in the 50-yard freestyle.

Emily LeFrois-Heath earned another first-place finish in the 200-yard IM.

Kyra Russ was once again victorious in the 3-meter dive, earning a final score of 263.40. Russ did the same in the 1-meter dive, earning a 262.58 final score.

Freshman Maddie Erhardt took home first place in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 29.97 seconds.

Miya Vitale earned a win in the 100-yard backstroke, securing yet another nine points for the Green and Gold. Vitale also earned a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle.

Jace Fredericksen earned a win in the 200-yard freestyle, scoring nine points and a finals time of 1:53.

Luca Olivieri finished first in the 200-yard IM, with a final time of 2:03.
 
Back-to-Back: Following victories in both the 3-meter and 1-meter dives, Kyra Russ has gotten off to a strong start to her junior season. Russ was named SUNYAC Diver of the Week for the second week, once again winning both diving events she has participated in.
 
Scouting Geneseo: The Knights men's and women's teams have jumped out to an impressive 3-0 start, most recently taking down D1 Canisius College on the road. Geneseo's Trent Makowiec earned SUNAYC Swimmer of the Week following his performance.
 
Scouting Nazareth: The Golden Flyers men's team has started 0-2, as the women's team has started 2-0 to begin the year. The women secured wins over Alfred State (131-100) and Hartwick (163-133). Alexa Rizzo and Cameron Fairley both earned Empire 8 weekly awards back on October 16th.
 
Up Next: The Golden Eagles will host the Bears of Potsdam on Saturday, November 11th at 1 pm.
