Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's and women's swimming and diving teams will return to action at home against Hobart & William Smith on Saturday, January 13
th at 1 pm. The Golden Eagles will be celebrating senior day as well as their second Chuck-A-Duck fundraiser.

Chuck a Duck: On Saturday, January 12
th the team will be hosting their second Chuck a Duck event. Upon entering James B. Fulton Natatorium, the team will be selling 1 rubber duckie for $5 and 5 rubber duckies for $20. At the first diving intermission, a floating target will be set up in the pool and Guests will be asked to throw their ducks into the target. Whoever's duck makes it to the middle wins a prize! All proceeds will go towards the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving team

Last Race Recap: The Brockport Men's and Women's swimming and diving teams took on Oswego State on the road back on December 2
nd. The women's team earned a dominant 183-115 over the Lakers, as the men's team tied Oswego State 140-140.

The women's team moved to 2-2 (2-1 SUNYAC) following the win, as the men's team moved to 0-3-1 (0-2-1 SUNYAC) following the race.

In the 200-yard medley relay, The group of
Miya Vitale,
Addy Martino,
Maddie Erhardt, and
Emma Butler won the race with a time of 1:58.45.
Emily LeFrois-Heath took first on her own in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.37. Martino won the 100-yard breaststroke race with a time of 1:12.51.
Sarah Kilburn (1:05.88) and
Corinne Wilson (1:09.64) finished first and second in the 100-yard backstroke race. Kilburn also took first place in the 100-yard freestyle event with a 56.89. Â Â Â
Kyra Russ led a strong showing from the divers with first place on the 3-meter board (245.70) and the 1-meter (240.70).
Jace Fredericksen swam an 11:03.20 for first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle event.
In the 200-yard freestyle,Â
Luca Olivieri snagged second with his 1:49.95, just .20 behind the event winner.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team won a close race with a time of 1:31.78.Â

Matthew Chan took first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.0.

Scouting Hobart: The Statesmen will enter the weekend with a 2-5 record in dual meets, most recently finishing 7
th out of 8 teams at the Don Richards Invitational in Rochester, NY. The all-men's team features eight swimmers.

Scouting William Smith: The Herons currently sit at 3-4 in dual meet competition, most recently securing a 6
th place finish out of 9 teams at the Don Richards Invitational back on December 1
st. The all-women's team rosters 23 swimmers/divers. Â

Looking Ahead: The Golden Eagles will head to Monroe Community College on Friday, January 26
th at 5:30 p.m. for dual meet competition. Â
