Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport hockey team will be at home this weekend for a pair of crucial SUNYAC matchups. The team will face Potsdam on Friday at 7pm, before hosting Plattsburgh at 4pm on Saturday.
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles last hit the ice at home last weekend when Geneseo came to Brockport. The visiting Knights rode the momentum of a 3-0 opening period on the way to an 8-2 win. With the loss, Brockport moved to 6-10-2 overall and 3-6-0 in conference play.
SUNYAC Standings: With just a few weeks left in the regular season, the Green and Gold sit at sixth in the SUNYAC standings with seven points. Here is a look at the full standings for the conference heading into Friday night's slate of games:

Connor Galloway leads the team in total points. He has four goals and is tied for fifth in the SUNYAC with a team-high 12 assists.
Josh Grund is second on the team with 11 points, coming from five goals and six assists. Grund is tied with
Matt Anastasio and
Chase Maxwell for the team lead in goals scored (5).
Facing the Bears: Potsdam enters Friday night's clash 5-12-1 overall and 2-7 against conference opponents. While the Bears are 0-7 at home, they have picked up all of their wins on the road to earn a 5-4-1 mark away from home. After a 4-0 win against Morrisville, Potsdam most recently fell to Canton, 5-0. The Golden Eagles have lost just once in the last five meetings with this particular SUNYAC foe. Earlier in the season they defeated the Bears on the road, 6-3.
Looking at Plattsburgh: The Cardinals start the weekend with a record of 14-3 overall and a 7-2 mark within the SUNYAC. They will take on Geneseo Friday night before coming to Brockport on Saturday. Most recently, Plattsburgh dominated Morrisville in conference play with an 8-2 win at home. Brockport has lost three in a row in the head-to-head series, with the last win over Plattsburgh coming in the postseason in 2022 (7-6, OT).
