Fredonia, NY – On Saturday, the Brockport swim and dive teams closed out the weekend with another set of wins. The men's team won with a final score of 179-63, while the women earned a 228-57 victory.
The Golden Eagles got the day started with a win in the men's 200-yard medley relay. Luca Olivieri, Josh Lauzonis, Joe Keeney, and Alex Scaglione combined for a time of 1:46.86 in the race.
Individually, Jace Fredericksen snagged first place in the 200-free with his time of 1:56.00. Matthew Chan won the 200-yard butterfly race with his time of 2:17.27.
Ren Watson was uncontested on the 3-meter board, scoring 226.30 for another Brockport win. Watson posted a 207.20 for first on the 1-meter diving board as well.
Matt Cole's time of 2:15.25 in the 200-yard backstroke was good for the top spot in the race. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Luca Olivieri finished first by clocking in at 2:23.87. Olivieri came back with a 56.13 to win the 100-yard butterfly as well.
Michael Laviani earned the team another first place finish with a 5:25.26 showing in the 500-free. Scaglione swam a 23.49 in the 50-free to take first in the event.
In the final event for the men, the Golden Eagles won the 200-yard freestyle relay. Jack Olsian and Garrett Nanna teamed up with Fredericksen and Scaglione for a time of 1:34.71 for the win.
The women's team got the day started with a win in the 200-yard medley relay.

Emily LeFrois-Heath, and
Sarah Kilburn clocked in at 1:57.13 in the event.
Addy Martino took first in the 1,000-free with her time of 11:59.26. Martino came back later to place first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:36.28.
Hannah Pauly swam a 2:15.67 to get a win of her own in the 200-yard freestyle.
Finishing in 1:08.57,
Brienne Westfall claimed first in the 100-yard backstroke. LeFrois-Heath had a first-place time of 1:14.42 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Vitale added another win for the Green and Gold with a 2:27.01 time in the 200-yard butterfly. In the 200-yard backstroke event she took first place once again thanks to her time of 2:19.82.
Kilburn clocked in at 25.88 for first place in the 50-free. She placed first again in the 100-free with a 57.50.
Madison Parobek got a win of her own in the 500-free, finishing in 6:01.01.
On the diving board,
Kyra Russ took first place across both events. She scored a 236.60 on the 1-meter and a 256.70 on the 3-meter.
Emma Butler snagged first in the 100-yard butterfly race with her time of 1:08.28. LeFrois-Heath swam a 4:53.99 to take first in the 400-yard IM.
Brockport finished the meet strong with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Parobek, Kilburn, Butler, and LeFrois-Heath clocked in at 1:45.14.
The men's team improved to 3-3-1 on the season after a third straight dual victory. The women are now 5-2 in duals, winning their fourth in a row.
The Golden Eagles finish up the regular season at home on Wednesday, January 31
st against Nazareth at 5pm.
